The Georgia State-wide Business Court is located on the 3rd floor of the Nathan Deal Judicial Center, which is situated a block away from the State Capitol at the intersection of Capitol Avenue and Memorial Drive. The secured public entrance to the building is located in the front of the building (see the above picture), facing Memorial Drive.
Once in the building, the Clerk of Court and the Court’s Chambers are located in Suite 3500, on the west side of the building. The Courtroom and associated space is located on the east side of the building immediately off the public elevators.
When the General Assembly is not in session, there is usually ample parking around the Nathan Deal Judicial Center. The most convenient parking is located at either the Capitol or Memorial Lots (referenced below), both of which are situated immediately across the street (and a short walk) from the Judicial Center.
Additional parking is also located on Martin Luther King Drive, S.W. (to the immediate west of the Capitol) or in the Government Center Parking Deck on Washington Street, S.W. between Trinity Avenue and Memorial Drive, S.W. (Note: The address is shown as Central Avenue, S.W., but it is easily accessible off of Washington Street.) Both of these lots are farther away, but can be suitable alternatives if the Capitol and Memorial Lots are full. There is also limited (free) street parking along Fraser Street, S.E., which runs along the east side of the Judicial Center.
I-75 / I-85 Southbound:
Exit the interstate at Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, just after Grady Memorial Hospital. Proceed west until you see the Capitol on the left; turn left onto Capitol Ave., S.W. Proceed on Capitol Ave. until you reach the intersection of Memorial Drive (2 blocks). The Nathan Deal Judicial Center is across the Memorial Drive intersection on the left.
I-75 / I-85 Northbound:
Exit the interstate at Fulton Street, just beyond Georgia State Stadium. At the light, turn right. Proceed to the next light at the Olympic Flame, turn left onto Capitol Avenue. Proceed over the bridge, the Nathan Deal Judicial Center is on the right of the Capitol Ave/Memorial Drive intersection.
